Inna Vjuzhanina doesn’t necessarily paint exclusively video game characters.

But her love for the medium came from her desire to pay tribute to her favorite video game heroine, Lara Croft.

Now, the Ukrainian artist has been building a side hustle that revolves around the “Tomb Raider” leading lady.

“While searching for a way to pay tribute to my beloved heroine, I started painting,” the Ukraine-based artist said recently. “That turned out to be the biggest passion of my life. Lara Croft is one of my biggest muses to this day.”

Vjuzhanina has been painting for about 10 years now, with much of her being inspired by video games.

At her website, where she has a Patreon to support her work, she has pieces devoted to games like “Last of Us,” “Horizon Zero Dawn” and, of course, “Tomb Raider.”

In addition, programs like “Game of Thrones” and “The Witcher” are also represented.

She sometimes turns on “Let’s Play” style videos while she paints.

She has discovered firsthand how fanatical video game enthusiasts can be, she said.

“Bonding over a favorite character based upon an artwork you’ve created is always a uniquely special experience,” Vjuzhanina said.
